The main goal of the project is the design, development and optimization of the composition and production of a new sustainable plasterboard for dry construction, which will have a lower volume weight compared to existing boards. Renewable resources will be used for its production and the production process will be less energy intensive. The aim is to reduce the amount of gypsum used by 5-10 % (approximately 2 000-4 000 t of material per year) and to reduce the share of inorganic non-renewable resources by using renewable chemicals. At the same time, the new plasterboard must meet the applicable standard requirements for performance. The project will experimentally verify the mechanical, acoustic and thermal parameters.
