Coordinator of research projects

We are the University Center for Energy Efficient Buildings of the Czech Technical University, located in Buštěhrad near Kladno. We connect science with the commercial sphere and bring new solutions to the market that help our users to be one step ahead. Our passion is innovative technologies for buildings, cities, energy, environment and sustainability.

We are looking for a new colleague for the project department, whose main mission is to provide excellent support to our research teams in planning, submitting, solving, administering and reporting grant research projects and recording their results. This is mainly about support for fellow researchers from UCEEB, but to a reasonable extent it is also about services for external partners of our projects in order to ensure the smooth running of the projects.

We would like to offer the position to someone who likes to support others, has a sense of order and responsibility, good organizational skills and looks forward to working with a team of project managers and researchers. We are looking for a communicative person, preferably with experience in administration or project management of national and international grant projects.

What awaits you:

  • monitoring of project calls and grant opportunities,
  • preparation and coordination of project requests,
  • coordination and administration of research projects,
  • negotiations with partners/stakeholders – national and foreign,
  • participation in seminars and brokerage events.

What knowledge and skills should you have:

  • completed min. secondary education with high school diploma,
  • active knowledge of the English language (both spoken and written),
  • good knowledge of MS Office,
  • good organizational skills, independence, reliability, flexibility,
  • ability to work within a team,
  • experience with project preparation and administration.

What can give an advantage over other bidders:
  • orientation in subsidy programs for science and research,
  • knowledge of the environment of an academic or research institution,
  • education in the field of project management,
  • experience dealing with foreign partners and institutions.
