In 2010, Tereza Pavlů graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the CTU in Prague, majoring in Buildings and the Environment, where in 2015 she defended her dissertation on the topic of using recycled aggregate in concrete. The work was focused not only on material research, but also extended to the usability of concrete with recycled aggregate in buildings, as well as to the assessment of related environmental impacts. Since 2013, he has been engaged in this research at the CTU UCEEB CTU. Together with his team, he tries to find ways to effectively use recycled materials in the construction industry. He cooperates with several companies dealing with the gentle demolition and recycling of buildings and the subsequent use of the obtained materials and structural elements.
