Ing. arch. Lenka Maierová, Ph.D.
Lenka Maierova is an architect and lighting specialist, focused on the influence of light on visual comfort and human health. In her interdisciplinary projects she transfers knowledge between lighting technology, chronobiology and architecture. She graduated of the Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University in Prague (2004), her doctoral thesis she defended in 2015 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU, in collaboration with EPFL, Switzerland. Since 2014 she has been working at the University Center for Energy Efficient Buildings, CTU, where she is the leader of the Platform for Healthy Lighting. Further, she is a lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU and a member of the Daylight Academy and the International Commission on Illumination (CIE).
