We are looking for a new colleague to lead the Photovoltaic Systems team at our research center in Buštěhrad. We focus on applied research and development within grant projects and contractual orders for companies. We would like to find someone who is interested in technologies in the field of photovoltaics, as well as new energy, and who will feel comfortable leading a small international team.
The University Center for Energy Efficient Buildings brings together top academics from the Czech Technical University in Prague who work together on sustainable buildings. The center was established in 2012 in order to simplify the university's cooperation with industry, it focuses on the commercialization of research results and technology transfer.
The content of your job
- responsibility for planning activities and managing a team of young scientists (currently 5), their development and motivation. The entire team is part of the Monitoring a řízení inteligentních budov research department with whose vedoucím will you coordinate these activities
- participation in the strategic direction of the team with an overlap in the area of new decentralized energy (FVE, accumulation, LDS, community energy, energetically positive districts)
- leading and finding new business opportunities, communicating with customers, and meeting team KPIs
- coordination of preparation of grant applications, management of supported projects and proactive communication with partners
- presentation of the results of national and international projects at professional workshops and conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad
Requiring
- theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of renewable sources and new energy with a focus on photovoltaics, energy storage and smart grids
- the desire to lead meetings, delegate, motivate and develop your team
- independence and initiative
- organizational skills especially in the field of project management, enthusiasm for diversity and the ability to work on several projects at the same time
- confident presentation in front of professional audience as well as educated laymen, very good level of written speech
- ability to communicate in the English language
- university education in a technical field
- driving license
