engaging team members in the international activites and international cooperation projects.
Two post-doc researchers from abroad joined the project at UCEEB as a result of a public tender:
- Ing. Branislav Korenko Ph.D. (Slovakia), Topic: Sensors and sensor systems for buildings (na projektu 1. 9. 2013 - 31. 12. 2014)
- Dr. Partha Sarkar (Indie), Topic: Non-destructive testing of buildings, building structures and materials
They were mentored by prof. Ing. Pavel Ripka, CSc. and their work leader Ing. Jan Včelák, Ph.D.
Both post-docs participated at conferences and published results of their work in 2014. During December 2014 they returned for a three-month internships. Ing. Korenko had an internship at Fiber Optic Department of the Leibniz Institute of Photonic technology, lead by prof. Harzmuty. MSc. Sarkar had an intership in India - CSIR - National Metallurgical Laboratory, with prof. Amitava Mitra. Now MSc. Sarkar continues with his work on the project. In May 2015 he participated in the IEEE International Magentics Conference in China and was awarded for the best presentation. In July 2015 he took part on two prestige conferences in Spain - IWMW 2015 and ICM2015.
