Aaron Farha is a visiting research scholar in the INTENS (Industrial Thermal Energy Systems) research team. He has completed his Bachelor's and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is currently working towards his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University at Herrick Labs. His research focuses on the development and analysis of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems for building heating and cooling. In the INTENS research team, he is helping to develop an optimal controller for the use of a high-temperature TES system under dynamic conditions.
