The project aims to develop a toolset for advanced management of newly emerging energy communities. These tools will enable a higher level of energy management digitization and contribute to more efficient utilization of community RES. Energy management at this level requires quickly deployable predictive models across control systems and overarching optimization of HVAC setpoints. The software package will activate the existing thermal storage capabilities as part of the community demand response. The project aims to accelerate the deployment time of predictive models using auto-initialization modeling methods. Optimization tools are expected to increase the utilization of community RES by up to 10 % and contribute to cost reduction of up to 20 % under the current market conditions.
