The UCEEB CTU Competence Center for Resilience, in collaboration with its partners, is developing the "Drone Inspection" service. This service integrates drone-based inspections of buildings and infrastructure with data analytics and expert review by a structural engineer. Consequently, clients receive not just drone imagery, but actionable information that can be used to assess the condition of a structure.

During an inspection, we use drones to collect visual and thermal data. This data is then digitally processed and analyzed, with the findings subsequently evaluated by a structural engineer. The final deliverable is a report detailing any identified structural defects, their precise locations, and recommendations for the next steps.

We currently utilize Parrot ANAFI UKR GOV drones for these inspections, and our team includes two certified pilots. We plan to further expand both the technical and personnel capacity of this service.
The Drone Inspection service is primarily designed for buildings, energy facilities, industrial sites, and other infrastructure where drones can simplify the inspection of large-scale or hard-to-reach areas.
