The project focuses on a key challenge facing society today: environmentally acceptable energy security that supports its future existence. This highly ambitious goal will be addressed in a comprehensive manner, combining approaches from chemical physics, materials chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and urban planning to support breakthrough discoveries in energy conversion and storage. The project includes six scientific research projects covering the entire R&D chain in this field.
