Jiří Dostál completed his doctoral studies in Control Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2024 after graduating (honourably) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2013 with a major in Cybernetics and Robotics. Throughout his studies, he also pursued a career at the esteemed Honeywell Automatic Control Laboratory in Prague. He also started research at the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings, CTU, in 2015. There, he established the Control system and optimization group in 2021 after the inception of the Hydronics 4.0 laboratory in 2019.
His motto is "Quality is beauty".
