Lenka Leila Madzurová serves as Deputy Head of the Building Energy Systems Research Department, where she focuses on technical solutions and the optimization of building operations with an emphasis on energy efficiency, system management, and sustainability. In her professional practice, she combines expertise in civil engineering with a managerial approach to overseeing investment and operational processes. She previously worked as Facility Manager of the Multi-Purpose Sports Hall in Slaný, where she was responsible for the operation of an extensive portfolio of sports and accommodation facilities, including an aquapark, ice arena, football stadium, athletics stadium, public summer swimming pool, and hotel. This experience provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the technical, energy-related, and organizational management of diverse and operationally demanding building types. For the public summer swimming pool and the athletics tunnel facilities in Slaný, she was involved from the very beginning of their construction as a project coordinator, contributed to their commissioning, and established the complete operational and organizational processes for these facilities. She also gained experience as an Investment Officer for the City of Slaný and as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager in the development sector. She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology (BSc., MSc. Eng.) in Economics and Management in Construction and holds an MBA degree specializing in organizational management.
