Ing. Marek Pokorný, Ph.D.

Marek Pokorný is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague (2005), where since 2007 he has been working as a specialist assistant at the Department of Building Structures, focusing on building fire safety and fire engineering. In 2012, he received his doctorate at the same workplace with the topic of his dissertation: Installation shafts from a fire point of view. Since 2013, he has been working as a scientific-researcher in the UCEEB fire laboratory of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he is dedicated to managing the fire laboratory, preparing and managing research projects and contract research.
