Martina Liberská is a lighting specialist focusing on daylight and artificial lighting, the spectral composition of light, and its impact on visual comfort and the development of children's vision. She is involved in interdisciplinary topics linking lighting technology, building physics, and architecture. She works for a design and consulting company, where she has long been involved in studies of daylight and artificial lighting, including practical measurements. In 2023, she completed a research internship at the Technical University of Berlin, focusing on measuring the spectral composition of light and dynamic modeling of lighting conditions.
Since 2021, she has been a doctoral student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where her research focuses on the relationship between the spectral composition of light, visual comfort, and the risk of developing myopia in elementary school students.
