Fatemeh Salehipour holds both a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in architectural engineering. She obtained her doctorate from the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering, and Architecture (DICEA) at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy. Her doctoral research focused on investigating the impact of urban morphology on urban heat island intensity, employing advanced parametric analyses across various European climatic contexts.

Following the successful defense of her dissertation in June 2023, she was awarded the MERIT Postdoctoral Fellowship in November 2023. Since May 2024, she has been a postdoctoral researcher within the building physics research team at the University Center for Energy-Efficient Buildings, Czech Technical University. She also completed a three-month tenure as a visiting researcher at Osaka Metropolitan University.

Her current research focuses on optimizing passive, active, and renewable design strategies to achieve near-zero energy buildings utilizing advanced methodologies to address future climate challenges.
