She completed her doctoral research at the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture (DICEA), Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy. Her research was focused on analyzing the impact of urban morphologies on Urban Heat Island Intensity, employing advanced parametric analysis across various European climatic conditions.
Following her successful dissertation defense in June 2023, Fatemeh was awarded the MERIT Postdoctoral Fellowship in November 2023. Since May 2024, she has been serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the construction physics research team at the Czech Technical University Center for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (UCEEB). Her current research involves the optimization and prioritization of passive and active design solutions for the building sector, utilizing advanced simulations to address future climatic challenges.
