The director for science and research of the Czech Technical University UCEEB, Antonín Lupíšek, was elected as a member of its board of directors at the annual membership meeting of the Czech Council for Sustainable Buildings.
The Czech Green Building Council, also known by the abbreviation CZGBC - from the English Czech Green Building Council, brings together companies from various sectors of the economy. Together, they strive for a construction industry that supports new construction and renovations based on the principles of sustainability. In the Czech Republic, the Council has been active since 2009, and all its activities are aimed at fulfilling the so-called Vision Zero, i.e. a state where buildings will not burden the environment throughout their entire life cycle.
