The Solar Association traditionally organizes Open Days of photovoltaic power plants. Also joining this year is CTU UCEEB, whose activities you can get to know during a roughly one-hour guided tour held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from ten o'clock.
As part of the European Sustainable Development Week, thousands of different events take place in a number of countries, including the Czech Republic, from May 30 to June 5 every year. These are conferences, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, film screenings, community meetings and many other activities focused on the issue of environmental protection for future generations. We participated in the Open Days of Photovoltaic Power Plants organized by Solární asociací, with which we have been cooperating for a long time.
This year, we have prepared for the public an approximately one-hour guided tour of the CTU UCEEB building in Buštěhrad, which will begin on Thursday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. Participants do not have to register anywhere in advance, they just have to show up at the specified date and time to enter the ČVUT UCEEB building at Třinecká street number 1024 in Buštěhrad.
Due to the topic, the event will be focused exclusively on photovoltaics and everything related to it. Laboratories whose research is not directly related to this area will therefore remain closed to the public this time and will only be accessible during the autumn Open Day, which we will announce on our website in time.
