The aim of the project is to develop a telemedicine module for monitoring people in buildings, enabling reliable detection of potentially risky conditions such as falls or immobility. A key innovative feature of the module will be privacy and cybersecurity in compliance with GDPR. For this reason, a matrix IR sensor will be used for image capture. The data will be processed locally. The data transmission to the higher-level healthcare system will be implemented using IoT networks (LoRaWAN/Narrow band), which by their technical nature no longer allow the transmission of large amounts of data. Only alarms and basic statistical information on the movement of people will be transmitted.The target users are health and care facilities and households of people with reduced mobity.
