Thanks to the new network, even your municipality can save energy

News, 14/01/2022

The CTU University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings offers municipalities, cities and urban districts free participation in the first Czech energy efficiency network. Its purpose is the transfer and sharing of expert advice and experience with the aim of supporting projects in the field of energy savings, the use of innovations and renewable resources.

The Energy Efficiency Network (EEN) project is funded by the European Climate Initiative EUKI program and is being implemented following the example of Germany, where these networks have been successfully operating for several years. Their goal is the transfer and acquisition of know-how and experience between their members and other involved experts, all in the interest of facilitating the preparation and implementation of meaningful projects in the field of energy savings, the use of RES and innovation, preferably with the use of current subsidies.

More about the project here: https://energy-efficiency-network.cz/o-projektu/

6 to 10 entities should be involved in the activities of the first (pilot) energy efficiency network in the Czech Republic, especially municipalities and cities, or urban areas. The guarantor of the project is the Czech Technical University in Prague, University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (ČVUT UCEEB), which is also the manager and moderator of the network.

The first meeting of members will take place as early as 8. 2. 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the CTU UCEEB building in Buštěhrad or online.

Further meetings will take place by agreement of individual members, but are planned approximately 4 times a year. Until the end of 2022, participation is free for network members only under the condition of active participation.

If you are interested, confirm your participation as soon as possible (the number of members in this pilot network is limited) to the email of the coordinator of the first workshop: office@apes.cz.

If you have any questions about participating in the EEN project, we are at your disposal.
