UCEEB Trained Security Managers from the Defense Industry

Aktualita, 27. 7. 2026

Experts from the Strategic Infrastructure Security team delivered a specialized training program focused on comprehensive organizational security, risk management, and crisis preparedness. The program was designed for managers responsible for security within the defense industry sector.

The training addressed the growing importance of emerging security threats, which increasingly combine cyberattacks, physical incidents, information operations, and geopolitical risks. Participants explored topics such as strategic security management, cybersecurity and information security, protection of critical assets, personnel security, crisis management, and building organizational resilience.

A key component of the program was the use of practical scenarios and expert discussions focused on decision-making in crisis situations. Participants worked through model cases involving cyber incidents, sensitive information leaks, reputational crises, and combined physical and cyber attacks. The program also included discussions on current trends in hybrid threats and lessons learned from the defense environment.

The program builds on UCEEB’s previous activities in the areas of critical infrastructure resilience, crisis preparedness, cybersecurity, and protection against new types of hybrid threats. The growing interest in this type of training confirms that security is becoming an integral part of the strategic management of organizations operating in sensitive and security-critical sectors.
