We are testing MULTIHEAT

News, 23/11/2021

As part of a joint research project, CTU UCEEB researchers in cooperation with industrial partner TECHTRANS PT installed the first prototype system for heating, cooling and hot water preparation for buildings with almost zero energy consumption in indoor laboratories.?

The project supported by the OP PIK program The application focuses on a new compact multifunctional source of heat and cold based on a heat mini-pump. As part of the detailed testing, the refrigerant circuit, the function of the built-in evaporator and condenser in the storage volume and the related temperature stratification will be investigated. The main expected result of the MULTIHEAT project is a semi-operation verifying the performance parameters of the device in real conditions as well as its functionality and reliability.

The results of the tests will lead to a performance line of completely new products for TECHTRANS PT s.r.o., which will allow it to improve its market position by becoming a supplier of a complete system for heating, cooling and hot water preparation for buildings with almost zero energy consumption in accordance with the stricter legislative regulations after 2022.
