During his working visit to Dubai, Director of the CTU University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings Robert Jára presented the SAWER system to the Czech Foreign Minister and representatives of the University of Rochester Institute of Technology of Dubai, with whom he also discussed cooperation.

SAWER technology is an indispensable part of the Czech national exposition at the world exhibition EXPO 2020, the central theme of which is the extraction of water from the air and its use for the cultivation of the dry desert. The system is already producing water for sub-surface irrigation of the garden and the first results from operation show that it can deliver more than 800 liters per day during the summer season. In addition, it preheats water for kitchen needs with waste heat. Robert Jára presented it on the spot to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jakub Kulhánek, who came to see the Czech pavilion even before the opening of the public exhibition.

The next stop of the CTU UCEEB representatives was the headquarters of the university Rochester Institute of Technology of Dubai, where they were met by its management headed by the president Dr. Yousefem M. Al-Assafem. During the meeting, we introduced SAWER and offered it to our colleagues in Dubai for testing. We also discussed with them the possibility of further mutual cooperation.
