The European Commission awarded the Czech Technical University in Prague an award in the field of human resources, which reflects the quality of the environment for researchers and is a guarantee of its further development. The certificate can attract even more top scientists to the university and make it easier to get some prestigious grants.
The condition for awarding the "HR Excellence in Research" award is the successful implementation of a personnel strategy based on the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. It is a recommendation of the European Commission, which obliges research institutions to create friendly working conditions, professional development and transparent procedures for hiring scientists.
CTU in Prague signed up to these principles in 2017. During the following year, the university developed an internal Gap analysis, as part of which it conducted a questionnaire survey among its employees. Based on its results, was created akční plán in English, with the help of which specific measures are gradually put into practice.
