Participatory design and evolutionary optimization for energy management and fair revenue redistribution in an energy community

The project addresses the interdisciplinary challenge of establishing economically functional management and simultaneously a fair mechanism for redistributing benefits within the energy community (EC). The outcome is software that optimizes the electrical energy management of EC members to maximize collective benefits and provides a solution for transparent and fair distribution of benefits within the EC. The boundary conditions will be identified through participatory design with the existing EC. The software will be pilot-implemented and validated in collaboration with the partner AIRS, s.r.o., which will offer the verified technology on the market. Its advantage will be the combination of advanced technical solutions and an approach to communities based on social science expertise.
