Razbar Azad Wahab from the Urban Ecohydrology team represented the UCEEB of CTU at the 18th Annual Meeting of InterPore 2026,
held in Nantes, France. The international conference annually brings together researchers working on porous media and their
applications in natural, industrial, and biomedical systems. This year's conference focused on the theme Green Housing & Porous
Media.
At the conference, she presented a poster entitled Predicting Performance of a Hybrid Green Roof Combining a Rooftop Constructed
Wetland and Semi-Intensive Dual-Layer Green Roof Across Climates, which evaluates the performance of an innovative hybrid
system combining a rooftop constructed wetland with a semi-intensive dual-layer green roof.
The research introduces a digital twin of the hybrid system developed in HYDRUS-2D and calibrated and validated using high-resolution
experimental data. The model was subsequently used to assess the system's performance under different climatic conditions
in Prague, Chania, and Stockholm, evaluating its capacity for water retention and pollutant transport.
The presented research directly reflected the conference's main focus on sustainable housing and nature-based solutions employing
porous media. The results contribute to the development of advanced tools for the design and assessment of urban green infrastructure.
