Has a MSc in Psychology from Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia, and post-graduate specialization in Neuroscience applied to architectural design from Iuav University of Venice, Italy. He then worked at the Urban Planning and Development Institute of the City of Pilsen, Czechia, where he was mostly in charge of the participatory planning for the department of public space. He teaches architectural psychology at universities in Czechia, Italy and the Netherlands and finishes a dissertation on the impact of urban lighting on pedestrians’ attention and feelings of safety at the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. At UCEEB, he has been working in the Participatory Planning and Design team since January 2025, where he is involved in New European Bauhaus projects.
