Service offer
If your city or its organisation feels the need to change its functioning towards a better absorption of innovation (e.g. in the framework of the development of Smart Cities solutions or the principles of the New European Bauhaus) or a greater openness to citizens, we offer knowledge support in improving processes related to decision-making, management and communication. By working closely with other UCEEB teams, we can offer knowledge support on possible solutions to meet modern European standards, with an emphasis on data and data-driven management and decision-making, monitoring the quality of indoor environments, welcoming public spaces, citizen participation in the creation of new functions and services, energy transformation of buildings, neighbourhoods and citywide energy systems, resilience to climate change and other threats, and fulfilling the principles of sustainability, inclusiveness and aesthetic value.
Our services include:
mapping the processes of learning, absorption and diffusion of innovation within the city and its organisations,
identifying key stakeholders for urban innovation and smart infrastructure deployment in urban organisational ecosystems, researching their attitudes and needs,
identifying opportunities for improving the innovation performance of the urban ecosystem through better engagement of public and institutional actors,
mediating the experience of Czech and foreign partners, facilitating the exchange of experiences and supporting the mutual learning process (organisation of "mutual learning excercise", preparation of training materials),
mapping communication processes within urban institutions and designing their integration according to the requirements of specific innovations (e.g. setting up interdisciplinary communication platforms),
establishing communication channels between the city and key urban ecosystem actors using modern approaches and tools.
