In our heat pump laboratory we offer testing of technical building equipment in the field of heat and cold sources based on conventional and unconventional refrigerant circuits.
Our services include:
Testing of heat pumps: We test ground-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps up to 35 kW in accordance with ČNS EN 14511 and air-to-water heat pumps up to 12 kW in accordance with ČNS EN 14511 in a climatic double chamber. The tests are non-accredited, but suitable for testing prototypes before testing in an accredited laboratory. The output is a test report.
Advanced system testing: We test entire systems with heat pumps, including the hydraulic connection to the heat storage tank and controller, in connection to heat demand emulators (hot water preparation, heating in the building defined by the customer). Advanced testing driven by parallel running computer simulation during a set of defined climatically different days allows to verify the realistic efficiency of the whole system under realistic conditions.
Heat exchangers: We can test the performance parameters of heat exchangers. We test tubular heat exchangers embedded in water heat reservoirs under various boundary conditions, e.g. to create computational models and design tools for specific arrangements.
Heat exchangers: We test heat reservoirs and water heaters, their heat losses (in accordance with EN 12897, EN 60379), thermal layering efficiency, total water discharge at a defined temperature, etc.
