The CESMOD project introduces new tools and information resources available to Czech cities and municipalities, energy centers,
social service providers, and other stakeholders in the Smart City ecosystem. Project partners discussed the current development
status and next steps during a two-day consortium meeting held in Brno on September 10–11.
As part of Work Package 2 (WP2), UCEEB CTU is contributing to the development of the "Smart City Compass" tool, which helps
cities and municipalities assess their current status and future direction regarding Smart City initiatives. In collaboration
with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO), we are creating a set of indicators covering energy, resilience, and preparedness.
Simultaneously, we are developing a new dashboard to enable clearer visualization and analysis of the uploaded data.
In the field of assistive technologies, UCEEB CTU, UJEP, and JINAG have collaborated to create practical assistive technology
cards that help caregivers navigate available solutions for specific life situations. These cards address topics such as safe
movement at home, medication management, home safety, communication, and remote care. They are available for free download
on the CESMOD project website.
Under Work Package 3 (WP3), UCEEB CTU is developing the "inovui" tool, designed to help innovation brokers—in particular—identify
and connect relevant needs, innovative solutions, and suitable partners.
