"The 2025 Symposium on Electronic Crime Research" will be the 20th peer-reviewed meeting of scientists and experts focusing on combating global cybercrime, particularly in the areas of IT user protection, businesses, governments, critical infrastructure, and operational technologies. It is organized by the international coalition Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG), composed of cybercrime experts, forensic investigators, law enforcement agencies, technology companies, financial services, university researchers, non-governmental organizations, and multilateral treaty organizations.

The technical partner of the symposium is the IEEE Computer Society’s Technical Community on Security & Privacy, which supports excellent research and organizes five of the most important conferences in the field of computer security and privacy.
