Ing. Sofiane Kichou, Ph.D.

Sofiane Kichou received a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in March 2017 from the Electronic Engineering Department at the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC). His doctoral research was conducted in the fields of supervision and automatic fault detection in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as modeling and degradation analysis of different PV module technologies. Currently, he is a researcher at UCEEB, CTU in Prague, working on topics linked to Renewable energy sources (RESs) design and simulation, PV applications, Microgrids, energy communities, and intelligent control of energy storage systems.
