The project is focused on the care of cultural heritage, buildings, and territories with historical values. It arises in
response to the rapidly increasing number of implementations of the lighting of the facades of historical objects, which often
do not respect the genius loci of a given space. The aim of the project is to establish suitable parameters, adequate for
illuminating historical objects in the context of the possibilities of current lighting technology and requirements for energy
savings and environmental protection. These findings will be summarized in a methodology supported by the Ministry of Culture
of the Czech Republic. At the same time, it expressed interest in its use in the practice of state monument care.
This project is co-financed with state support from the Ministry of Culture under the NAKI III programme.
