The aim of the project is to design and test a system for the use of waste heat from biomass (biowaste) and to prepare the system for commercialization. After the implementation of the project, the value of the know-how will be increased through the demonstration. The global goal of development in the field of ORC (organic Rankine cycle) at CTU is to make the benefits of own electricity production available to the widest possible range of users. They will then be able to easily become owners of their own power plants and participate in the upcoming systemic change in the electric power industry towards the so-called Smart Grids concept.
