The goal of the project is research and development of a new technology for firing Liapor light ceramic aggregate, a light granulate made of ceramic material. The new firing technology, based on the development of the internal equipment of the rotary kiln and cooler, will enable a more efficient transfer of heat from the flue gas directly to the charge in the individual zones of the rotary kiln and in the drum cooler, thus making it possible, without a negative effect on the existing production of the rotary kiln, to increase the fraction production ratio to 4 mm grain size as the fraction with the most desired assortment.
