The main goal of the project is the development, implementation and verification of the mechanical and fire resistance of a prefabricated lightweight column made of high-quality concrete (HPC) with carbon reinforcement in the form of textiles. The existing production technology will be gradually verified with a focus on application to a lightened column with a cavity / lightening core. The first experiments will be carried out on smaller test specimens to optimize the design of the column. Based on the results, the columns and their possible fire protection will be designed, with subsequent testing of mechanical and fire resistance. Emphasis will be placed on the resistance of the column against the effects of fire as the biggest obstacle for application in the construction industry.
