The aim of the project (until 2022) is to develop, test and evaluate tools for maximizing the energy flexibility of buildings. Specifically, the research will deal with the development of a superior control system for residential and office buildings. The task of the developed tools will be to ensure the coordinated operation of all energy systems of buildings (heating, cooling, ventilation, shading, local production and accumulation of electrical energy, etc.) in order to achieve an optimal energy response to the future requirements of the so-called smart network with regard to the comfort of end users these buildings. Testing of the tools will be done both in real operation and using a virtual test environment allowing to analyze a wide range of operational scenarios.
