In recent years, we have noticed a demand for an economically efficient solution to ensure the backup of the basic electrical needs of small municipalities in the event of outages in the distribution system. Municipalities also demand systems for the combined production of electricity and heat. Provision of capacities with batteries and combinations of batteries with active elements, such as a photovoltaic power plant, a gasoline power plant and a device for the production of electricity from biomass, come into consideration.

The aim of the seminar is to use practical examples to show the issue in wider operational contexts from a technical point of view. Then present the economic parameters of the projects from operational economics to securing financing with the use of subsidies and with the help of the EPC tool, i.e. the financing of energy investments from savings.

The seminar was part of EUSEW Energy Days 2017. Proceedings of the event can be downloaded zde.
