Fire technical characteristics of individual subjects

Service offer
We offer the preparation, implementation and interpretation of individual object fire behaviour tests. The behaviour can be detected both in a closed space simulating a smaller room, and in an open space unaffected by the back radiation.


Offer includes:
  • test methodology proposal with regard to the expected sample behaviour and its expected use,
  • conducting the test or series of tests,
  • test report in Czech or English.

The output of the test is most often a Heat-Release-Rate (HRR) and visual evaluation of the combustibility of the product. In the surroundings of the burning product, the temperature and heat flux can be determined using thermocouples and radiometers, and a basic analysis of combustion products (CO, CO2, smoke optical density) can also be performed.

The test results can be used in mathematical modelling of fire dynamics.

Envilop

Envilop is a proposal for a solution for a lightweight panel-type perimeter skin based on wood. The light envelope was designed as part of the Intelligent Buildings project (CZ.1.05/3.1.00/13.0283) from the Operational Program Research and Development for Innovations of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which is financed by the EU and the state budget of the Czech Republic.
