Anna Marie Černá graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU. After completing her master’s studies, she undertook a six-month internship in Poland and subsequently worked as an architect in the Czech Republic. In her doctoral dissertation, which she defended in March 2026, she focused on the possibilities of adapting the layouts of panel housing buildings to contemporary user requirements, taking into account indoor environmental quality and health.
Currently, she focuses on BIM and LCA. She works as an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture and Building Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU, and since September 2025 she has been a member of the Sustainable Construction team at CTU UCEEB. In her work, she concentrates on the use of digital tools, particularly BIM, to reduce the environmental impacts of the construction industry and on the assessment of materials using the LCA method.
