Ing. arch. Barbora Hejtmánková, Ph.D.

Barbora Hejtmánková graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Construction with a focus on urbanism at the CTU Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2011 and continued her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Environment at the Czech University of Applied Sciences, where she focused on the topic of Natural elements and structures in images of Czech cities. She spent part of her doctoral studies in Brazil studying modern urban planning using the example of the capital city of Brasília, founded in the middle of the wasteland far from civilization. After her studies, she worked in an architectural studio, and from 2022 she is a member of the Sustainable Construction team at the Czech Technical University UCEEB and is dedicated to architecture, public space and greenery in the city.
