Kristýna majored in Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University. During her master and doctoral studies she worked as an architect. In the spring of 2022 she took part in a three-month research internship at Aalborg University. Her dissertation, defended in January 2023, addressed the architectural design process in terms of the indoor environmental quality. Her current research interests are in the field of BIM - Building Information Modelling, and in particular Building Information Management. She is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering Structures, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU, where she teaches BIM and building physics. She has been a member of the CTU UCEEB Sustainable Buildings research team since December 2023, focusing on the use of digital tools and BIM to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry.
