Erika Langerová is the head of the Cybersecurity for Energy team. She focuses on security issues in the energy sector. Her research connects cybersecurity with broader hybrid threats, including economic coercion, legislative pressure, and cross-border technological influence. She regularly publishes on topics at the intersection of energy, security, and geopolitical risk. She actively contributes to strategic foresight and crisis scenario modeling for energy infrastructure, participates in the development of cybersecurity methodologies, and supports regulatory and standardization processes. Erika also mentors students within the Security Academy, a year-long educational program designed for selected master's and doctoral students, aimed at preparing promising talents for careers in security organizations, public administration, and the civic sector. With extensive hands-on experience in industrial R&D and business, she effectively bridges the gap between real-world needs and academic research. Erika Langerová graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
