Ing. Erika Langerová

Erika Langerová is the Head of the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Resilience and the Head of the Security of Strategic Infrastructure. She focuses on security issues in the energy sector. Her research connects cybersecurity with broader issues of hybrid threats, including economic coercion, legislative pressure, and cross-border technological influence. She regularly publishes on topics at the intersection of energy, security, and geopolitical risks. She actively contributes to strategic foresight and the modeling of crisis scenarios for energy infrastructure, participates in the development of cybersecurity methodologies, and supports regulatory and standardization processes. She mentors students within the Security Academy. Thanks to her extensive practical experience in industrial R&D and business, she is able to effectively bridge the needs of practice and the academic sphere. Erika Langerová graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at CTU in Prague.
