Martin Hataj is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he received an engineering degree in 2013 and a doctorate in civil engineering in 2019. In the years 2006-2017, he also worked on the design of land structures. Between 2012 and 2014, he was employed at the Department of Steel and Wood Structures at the CTU as a student researcher, since 2013 he has been working at the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings at the CTU, and since 2020 he is the head of structural engineering.
