Martin Volf graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU, majoring in Buildings and Environments with a focus on wooden building structures. He completed the last year of his master's degree and his thesis at the University of Stavanger, Norway. In 2017, he defended his dissertation on "Environmentally Efficient Building Envelopes". At the same time, he worked in several architectural studios and specialized design offices (EVEX, Petlach TZB, homostudio). Since 2018, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Prague in the field of integrated building design and sustainable construction. He continues to focus on the topic of environmentally efficient buildings in international and national research projects. He takes care of the development of the SBToolCZ methodology and also focuses on ESG education.
