Ing. Petr Wolf, Ph.D.

Petr Wolf's research is focused on photovoltaic applications in on-grid applications as well as in autonomous and hybrid application. Essential part is innovative control of energy sources based on solar and load prediction, smart grids and energy storage. He studied these topics on Czech Technical University and he has also gained lot of experience in the private sector, where he worked for 7 years on designing and installation of photovoltaic systems. He took part in study visits at university in Greece, Fraunhofer institute in Germany, and recently in an expedition to Antarctica, where his task was a construction and commissioning of a hybrid PV system.  He works at CTU UCEEB on R&D projects with industry partners in the mentioned fields.
