Ing. Robert Jara, Ph.D.

Ing. Robert Jara, Ph.D. in 2018, he completed his doctoral studies at the Department of Steel and Wooden Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FSv) of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he still works as an assistant professor focusing on wooden structures. He has been working at the CTU UCEEB since its inception, since 2016 he has held the position of deputy head of the Materials and Building Construction Research Department. He is professionally engaged in research in the field of designing wooden buildings and experimental analysis of building structural elements. From July 1, 2021, he leads the CTU UCEEB in the position of director.
