Tomáš Vlach is completing his doctoral studies in the combined form in the Civil Engineering program at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. For example, he teaches the subjects Civil Engineering 3, Project and works as an assistant professor in the same department. He completed a 3-month internship at RWTH Aachen under the guidance of university professor Josef Hegger. He is part of the composite materials laboratory team under the leadership of Professor Petr Hájek, where he mainly deals with alternative reinforcement of concrete elements and their applications.
