Elen Kužvartová graduated from Art History at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. She soon focused on the history and theory of architecture, mainly interested in the social role of architecture. It corresponded to the focus of her diploma thesis - collective housing in Czechoslovakia during the 20th century. After graduating, she worked in the architectural firm Usina in São Paulo, Brazil, which focused on participation with future beneficiaries of social housing. Subsequently, she participated in the NAKI project "Architecture of the 1980s in the Czech Republic - Specificity, Identity and Parallel Reflections on the Background of Normalization" at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University.  At UCEEB, she has been working in the Participatory Planning and Design team since December 2023, where she is involved in New European Bauhaus projects.
