The aim of the project is to design a system for monitoring the technical condition of critical points of load-bearing structures of bridges and footbridges. The system will enable remote construction monitoring, data collection and archiving, as well as real-time monitoring. At the same time, it will be equipped with automatic sending of messages and warning messages when critical values are detected. The goal of the project is the development of built-in sensors working on the principle of Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) for monitoring the behavior of the reinforcement of bridge structures made of reinforced concrete and for monitoring the critical points of the load-bearing structures of bridges made of glued laminated timber throughout the lifetime of these structures.
